While delivering my 2013 Lacrosse for the 90k mile service, I explained that I was experiencing harsh shifting problem in specific gears. It turned out that the problem required opening the transmission and replacing more than one clutch. The repairs were costly and the risk of additional problems caused me to decide on a new transmission with a 3 year, 100k mile warrantee. This was accomplished along with replacing a new water pump, induction system cleaning and flushing the coolant system. I delivered the car when the transmission arrived. I was appraised of the repair progress and I picked it up on schedule. As usual, I was completely satisfied with the results.

I went and was quoted $3000+$1800 for a job that was not needed. I took my vehicle to another mechanic and was told there was no need for that job and paid $112 to get car running normal again. I will be in contact with management in a more detailed manner.
When buying my car everyone was friendly. But when it comes to the car, after two weeks of having it i had to return it for swrvices because its having machanical issues. After having my car for about 4 or 5 days i got it back. After 3 days i have to return it once again for more issues. For a 2017 its having a lot of issues. The reason for dor buying the car waa because i travel alot with my daughters and the last thing i want is my car to leave use stranded somewhere.

I like this dealership and I love my Buick but your service department could do better speaking to customers when we walk in the door. Everyone is looking at a computer and even if you’re busy it goes a long way to say hello and I’ll be with you in a few minutes. I don’t appreciate being ignored for 2-5 minutes when no one else is standing in front of you.

Service department was extremely busy but got to us in a very timely manner. They took my car in for a "check engine" light, evaluated the problem which involved the PVC valve and a leak in the system causing a high pitched noise. They managed to complete repairs and have my car running great the same day. The service rep allowed me to keep the courtesy car and pick up mine the next day due to the rain storm in San Diego. Great expertise and customer service by South Bay. I will make this dealer my choice fro future car needs. Thank you.

There was definitely some sticker shock. But the customer service was great. And ultimately we were able to separate the urgent needs from the nice to haves. I also had a good experience with the Lyft driver/service.
